Started in June 2009, this blog is the work of Elizabeth Davis and Tara Tona–two American girls from Florida– who wish to spread their knowledge of amazing innovations in the realms of eco-fashion, sustainable products, art, architecture, humanitarian design, health and recyclables/renewables.

We LOVE to talk and to share with you, but we also want to know what is on YOUR mind. What would you like to see more or less of at INNOVATE? Do you have an idea or innovation that you’re shocked we haven’t found yet? Lay it on us. Have a passion project in the works that you want to get the word out about? We would love to be the first to know about it! Please e-mail Elizabeth (elizabeth_davis@me.com) & Tara (taratona@me.com) and help us become a better resource for everyone.

Our site will be changing and updating frequently, so stayed tuned for more greatness!

*The lovely “innovate” header was made by Elizabeth Davis.

  1. fabulous! i especially love the granny in the trench (i want to be her when i grow up) and the girls doing all the recycled sewing!

i have started a totally frivolous blog for myself about nothing productive at all (embarrassed by the sophistication of yours) but i will put a link to yours on mine.

this is great, keep up the good work!

    • Thanks aunt Allie!! So happy you stopped by.. I’m on my way to check out your blog now. I’m sure it’s fun and stylish, just like you.

  2. GIRLS! This blog is fantastic. You have already opened my eyes to so many innovations going on in this country that I would otherwise have no idea about. Come on… a hotel in a drain pipe, a car that does 230 miles to the gallon, a T-Shirt company that donates 100% of the proceeds to Plant-IT-2020, beautiful houses totally constructed out of discarded steel and concrete, amazing artists. architects and designers, paper water bottles and sooo much more. Please keep it up, we need you!
